Our first semester officially ended on January 13, 2012. It was a very productive semester and it is nearing the time when we recognize students for their academic achievements. Please mark you calendars for our Honors Assemblies:
Monday, January 23- 2nd Grade 8:30 a.m.
Monday, January 23- 1st Grade 1:15 p.m.
Tuesday, January 24- 4th Grade 8:30 a.m.
Tuesday, January 24- 3rd Grade 1:15 p.m.
Wednesday, January 25- 5th Grade 8:30 a.m.
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) released the 2010-2011 Mireles School Report Card. A copy of this report will be sent home on Tuesday, January 24th. It will also be reviewed during the February 2nd PTA meeting. The school report card provides Mireles data and a comparison of our school in relation to the State, School District, and a school group (consisting of other school with similar demographics as Mireles). The report card also details how each student group is performing.
Congratulations! to our Mariners, their teachers, and our parents for helping the school achieve "Gold Performance Acknowledgements" in the following areas:Reading, Writing, Mathematics, and Science.
In order to continue this tradition of success, we need all of our students to be ready and eager to begin their learning every day.Reading daily at home, completing homework, attending tutorials, and coming to school every day will ensure our continued success.
